Paper Marbling


Learn the art of Suminagashi, an ancient Japanese water marbling art, originally practiced by Shinto Priests and Bhuddist monks in the 12th century, as a meditative practice to connect with nature.

In this hands-on workshop, we will spend 3 hours learning the fundamentals of working with sumi inks, mordants and rice papers, experimenting with colors and designs to make one-of-a-kind pieces.

Group Sketching 



This monthly class is designed to inspire you to stay creatively active and maintain a sketchbook or artist’s journal at home. Through simple, engaging exercises and group collaboration, you’ll develop habits to keep your creative practice alive. All skill levels are welcome—just bring a fresh sketchbook/journal and your favorite tools. Additional materials and tools provided.

Design A Rug
 



Puzzle together geometric patterns and carefully select custom color palettes to create your very own one-of-a-kind 3x4 ft wool rug. Your final design will be sent to our Oaxaca team and handwoven by master Zapotec artisans in the central valley of Oaxaca, Mexico with local sheeps wool. After 12-18 days, your rug will be ready for pick up at landdd.

What do we see when we see? Image, Perception and Storytelling is a two-session workshop designed to stimulate your creative process through a series of exercises and experiments. We'll challenge you to look at images in unexpected ways, revealing new interpretations and narratives.

Bardo: A Tea Ceremony

We invite you to join Bardo’s founder, Veronika Vogler, at landdd for an hour long tea ceremony centered around astral themes, where she will serve a Hei Cha from the Bardo collection. This ceremony will be held in silence, while reflecting on the tea served and how it sits in the body.

We’re back for our Monthly Night Collage. For this event we will be recycling paper, old magazines and books to experiment with texture, colors and imagery stimulating creative processes and ideation. This is a totally free/donation based event. Bring supplies if you wish.

Silicon Radio is a collective based in Portland, Oregon, showcasing local and visiting DJs on the radio and live events. Specializing in curated selections of groove, club, house and downtempo music from around the world.

Join us at Landdd for free/public night of sound exploration. Four DJs, 1hr sets each, this event will be live streamed for global enjoyment.
