As part of our on-going night series Javier Reyes, founder of rrres and co-founder of Landdd, shares his personal history, the trajectory of his design practice and the process behind the genesis of his studio, rrres.
From a Carribean island to the central valley of Mexico, Javier presents his path through photographs, sounds and projections.
rrres takes on a nearly symbiotic nature; between contemporary design and traditional techniques, uniting regional materials and local communities. This project is in the pursuit of research and observation - delineating designs from Latin American everyday life and transmuting them into everyday objects.
