PEACHES THE STUDIO / WORKSHOP / PEACHES THE STUDIO / WORKSHOP / CLAY /
This workshop is in tandem with Peaches the Studio, a Portland-based ceramics studio. Over the course of 4+ hrs, participants will work with white porcelain clay which they will pigment , marble and form into utilitarian vessels for matcha, mezcal, tea or coffee. Peaches will cover the basics of working with clay, including mason stains and the pinch-pot technique, as well as marbeling methods and slab/coil building. Once dried, the clay work will be sent off for firing and glazing at Peaches private studio. After firing, each student will have their work photographed and ready for pick up at Landdd.
